FAQs on Solo Travel
Solo travel is exactly what it sounds like – traveling on your own. But more than that, it’s about choosing your own pace, priorities, and experiences. It can be freeing, challenging, and deeply rewarding.
It can be one of the best ideas you’ll ever have. Traveling solo builds confidence, helps you trust your instincts, and gives you space to explore the world (and yourself) without compromise. Like anything, it depends on how you approach it – but if you’re curious, it’s probably worth at least trying!
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, but some of my favorite destinations as of late have been Taiwan, Iceland, Thailand, and Austria. The best place for you depends on your comfort zone, interests, and travel style.
Start small – maybe a weekend trip close to home or a familiar country that feels manageable. Plan your basics (accommodation, transport, key safety tips), but leave room to explore. And trust that you’re more capable than you think.
